Entropy

Let there be erected,
The grandest carvings of mine on rocks,
An emblem of my ceaseless glory,
Eons after eons for people to witness.
For I, am the greatest human,
Who conquered lands for just dominion.

Was that an itch on my skin?
Not even a fraction of a femtosecond,
Being Entropy, I can’t even feel it,
Was it even there in the first place?

My stories will prevail,
Let them outlast the ink and the paper,
On which I intend to etch them.
Let my primate name reverberate,
In the ears of generations to come,
Forever to sing to my tune and laugh with my wit.

Ink fades, papers rot,
Progeny forget,
What is it that you’ve written?
For I am Entropy and I hear you not!

My desires are pure,
They are the purest,
As I assume my heart and mind to be so.
I will lead the best life a human can envision,
An epitome of wisdom and honor I shall be,
I will preach to all how to live a good life.

Good life, until blessed be the neurons in your skulls,
Abusive not your Guardians whence little,
And perfect be the timing and state of your birth.
I am Entropy and what is pure I never let it last.

This injustice is enough!
We shall not endure further!
Revolutions we shall commence,
Change, we shall the state of things!
Overhaul, these human affairs,
We will ignore our primitive passions for good!

I am Entropy and the world still revolves,
The biosphere you’re in, will take eons to evolve…..
For without considering how you work in your head,
Your petty unrests are sure to drop dead!

Our civilization will be perfect,
Our system, fool-proof,
There shall be no injustice.
There shall be no more spite!
We all should see it,
Our nations and our cities standing strong.

Don’t make me laugh ignorant humans,
Your ambitions are sweet, legacies inevitably bland.
Many cities I have crumbled, great nations have dissolved;
Be mindful of me, for I am Entropy, married to Eternity.

We shall study you then,
We shall study everything while we can.
Generations after generations will know you more,
Your laws, workings, perhaps intentions.
We shall rise back from the ashes,
As we expect you in each turn.

Commendable, Homo sapiens,
Understand me you shall – that I am always above you!
Proceed under your code – as far as you can,
But I am indifferent, for I am the Law of Nature herself…….
